HOBBS, New Mexico (Aug. 9, 2019) – Sabrina Camp has been named account manager for some of the company’s largest industrial customers in New Mexico’s rapidly growing energy sector.

Camp started her service with Xcel Energy in 2016 as an operations specialist in Seminole, Texas, before moving into the role of designer. In her new position, Camp will work with industrial customers to help them make the most of their energy dollar and assist them with business expansion plans and day-to-day operational issues involving electricity supply. Many of these customers in the Hobbs area are involved in oil and gas operations, and Camp has already worked with them in her previous position designing new service connections.

“Sabrina has gained a lot of valuable knowledge in a short amount of time, and we’re confident in her abilities to not only assist large customers with their technical needs, but to provide excellent customer service as well,” said Preston Langford, project manager in Xcel Energy’s Key Accounts group serving New Mexico and Texas. “She joins a skilled team that is ensuring we’re meeting and exceeding our customers’ expectations now and in the years to come.”

Camp studied business management at New Mexico Junior College, and prior to coming to Xcel Energy, worked as a contract landman for Pickleland LLC.
